The Odyssey

I'm walking up the driveway to The Odyssey. Hey, there's our unit on the right along the driveway. I can see the sign for the building straight ahead. It says "The Odyssey 2001." I wonder if Stanley Kubrick lives here.
I'm taking a picture of our bedroom window, which is right on the courtyard near the lobby. In fact, there is a view of our place from the 24-hour front desk, which is actually a good thing from a security standpoint. Thankfully, all of our windows are super-reflective and it's very difficult to see inside. The result is that my photo looks almost like a mirror.
To the right there's a door to a storage unit that's owned by the condo association. We have access to our apartment through this storage room. Convenient, sure. But the first thing we'd do is get an alarm system to be safe.

Here's the front door to the building. It looks much cooler in person.

Here's the front desk, which is manned 24 hours. I talked to the lady manning, er ladying, the desk and she was very nice.

Here's is the awesomeness that is the lobby. Behold.

I could hang out here with a book and a glass of wine and pretend it's my living room.

We went to the 17th floor to check out the gym.

You can see the pool from the cardio machines.

Here's the view beyond the weight bench. Stunning. There's a big ole patio around the pool where we could watch the fireworks that would have this same view.

The gym was quiet. There was only one guy in there on an elliptical machine. I'm guessing it's much busier in the morning, and there are only four cardio machines. There's a gym opening across the street just in case.

Free weights are my favey.

Sita poses in the sauna. Apparently it's cold in there.
Back down to the first floor. What's that I see? I think it's the front door to the unit. Let's have a look see.
